On the road down under in 2012
As the FutureGov team continues to fan out across the region, our team downunda’ is doing their part. After the resounding success of the FutureGov Congress in Canberra this past September, we are going “on the road” in 2012, as we look to answer the call to provide the same opportunity to more areas and levels of government in Australia and New Zealand. Our 2012 ANZ FutureGov Forum Series will provide more opportunities for public sector ICT leaders to engage with each other on the ongoing developments in technology, and their impact on issues from citizen service delivery to inter-departmental collaboration.
Our year kicks of with our co-located SecurGov and Advanced G-Cloud in February. The FutureGov Forum State Series then kicks off in Western Australia in March, before moving around the other states throughout the year. We are also crossing the Tasman in May for our inaugural FutureGov Forum New Zealand. Rounding the year out, will be our Government CFO, FutureHealth, First Responder and FutureCampus forums addressing more specific issues in the areas of finance, health, emergency services and education.
An ambitious schedule for our small, growing team in Sydney, but the support and excitement we are receiving from government leaders across ANZ is fantastic, and in particular thanks go out to IBM for their 2012 series sponsorship which is providing the foundation to make this all possible.
With almost an event every month next year, my kids can be expecting lots of snow globes for their collection !!!
